Research assistant Wang Kan:
Kan Wang obtained her Ph.D. in biomedical and engineering from The Forth Military Medical University in 2008, China. After a postdoctoral fellowship at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2008, she was appointed an Assistant Professor  of Institute of Micro/Nano Science and Technology of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2011. Her scientific interests are nanotechnology development of early cancer detection and screening equipment, nanomaterial molecular imaging and biocompatibility evaluation, and biological tissue impedance spectrum characteristics.

Research Interests:
1.Nanotechnology development of early cancer detection and screening equipment;
2.Molecular imaging and biocompatibility evaluation, such as optical imaging and pathological imaging in vivo. The application of NPs (fluorescent magnetic nanoparticles, carbon dots and near-infrared upconversion luminescent, etc.) in the early detection of tumors;
3.Biological tissue impedance spectrum characteristics.
