Associate Professor He Rong
Materials PhD, associate professor. She graduated from the Faculty of chemistry and chemical engineering of Shanghai Jiaotong University. Now, she is the associate professor in the laboratory of nano-bio-micro and Nano-Science and Technology Research Institute.  Her research mainly focused on the preparation and properties of nano-materials characterization and morphology control and surface modification of nano-materials. She also has research foundation in the analysis of structures and properties of nano-materials, Assembly and application.
In recent years, she the interactions between nano-particles and biological macromolecules and the application in Immunology, molecular biology, detection and treatment of major diseases, including the Assembly of nanoparticles and biological molecules and its biological effects research. She achieve great research results in Water soluble semiconductor quantum dots, magnetic nanoparticles, fluorescent magnetic nanoparticles: preparation, surface modification and its significant disease immunoassay, cell imaging, NMR studies. She is responsible for the National Natural Science Foundation as a project leader. She participated the national 863 key project of national science and technology major projects as the leading senior researchers and mainly focused on the preparation of functional nano-materials, decoration, nano-materials and bio-molecular connections, markers and their applications in critical illness diagnosis and treatment. He did the research on Multifunctional materials of nano-liposomes: preparation, characterization and application in scar treatment and multi-functional nano-materials in bio-molecular detection and imaging.
 In recent years, she has published more than 40 papers on academic journals at home and abroad, most of them were included by SCI. she applied more than 10 patents.
She achieve the second prize of excellent reserve talents of young teachers of Shanghai Jiao Tong University "Morningstar young scholars award scheme" in 2008.
